Of all the large pieces I photographed for this, there were only a handful that ran longer than about a year.
In the lower right (in the corner of the M) it says “2010,” and looking closer, it says “02”. Assuming this was finished in February of 2010, it was near the end of a year and a half run when I arrived.
Sadly, when I returned a few months later, I discovered that the entire alley had been demolished, and the piece’s long run had finally come to an end.
