
The elements, much like the locals, had been pretty aggressive on what was left of the building. There really wasn’t a lot left to protect it.
The border of the building, for whatever reason, had been preserved, extending out about 6 feet from the walls into the center of the concrete foundation the building once stood on, which proved just enough room to, say, shelter a homeless human from the weather.
I typically don’t think about things like that when I’m documenting, but this one was a little different from most.
