I guess it should come as no surprise that the shot can look completely different on site vs back at the studio. This was a great example, buried in the shadows of the Staircase to Nowhere. Personally, I blame the lighting. While I try as hard as possible to let the camera speak for me and not do a lot of post processing, this one needed a little bit of work just to get it out of the weird shadowy area it was in.
