On the corner of Colorado Avenue and 2nd East is a little green house that didn’t look like much until I looked just beyond the wall of the back area, and caught this magnificent spectacle.
It turns out the green house is now home to an artist who hosts his own galleries. This piece was in his back yard to help generate interest. It caught mine enough that I got a good picture of the mural, but never did go inside to go through the rest of his gallery – partially because I was feeling antisocial, partially because I didn’t think he’d let me take pictures of any of them, but mostly because I was in the middle of the Arts District in Downtown Vegas, and was concerned that my body was going to end up in the middle of two or three of those large abandoned gravel areas.
Downtown tends to make a person nervous, mostly because it’s not necessarily the safest place in the world to be.
