I don’t know if this is a street artist thing, or just a Vegas thing, but as I made my way through the city, there was absolutely no garbage can left untouched. When I put together Vegas I, I was certain that the “most artistic garbage can ever” was an isolated incident. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Every square inch of these cans has been signed: underneath, inside, outside, everywhere it’s possible to put a tag of some sort. Even the wheels.
The cans are usually several feet away from the walls, and artists seem to go out of their way to sign one to let everyone know they were here.
Poles, posts, and sidewalks I can see.. But garbage cans?
