This was a pretty big discovery: finding this piece led me on a breadcrumb trail through central Vegas that somehow I’d missed on my previous trips through the city, eventually ending in in the heart of the Arts District in an abandoned complex that I began to affectionately call The Boroughs, for lack of a better term. There were several blocks waiting to be documented, and it all started right here.
When it comes to art, and especially street art, interpretation is the soup du jour: we don’t always see it the same way the original artist did. I know for a fact that I’m missing most of the big picture here, but that doesn’t deter my enjoyment of it any less, nor should it anyone else’s.
