As I moved to the opposite side of the building, I realized that I wasn’t alone, and hadn’t been for quite some time. The brim of the building had been housing several homeless people that I hadn’t seen when I originally entered the building – there were three groups, a total of close to 15 people altogether. Not one of them had said a word, just sat there and stared blankly at me, not moving a muscle, while I got what I came for.
Sometimes getting the shot means braving the elements, the environment, and the crazies. It’s an experience.
