In the center of Downtown Salt Lake CIty, near the local homeless shelter, I came across this sort-of building which was impossible to not see from the road – a nice change of pace from ducking through fences, sliding through alleys, and rummaging through areas I really shouldn’t be in.
Depending on who you ask, this building had been everything from a night club to a restaurant over the years, but when I got there, it was nothing more than a burnt-out husk of what it used to be. The front windows had long since been boarded up, any access points fenced off, and most interestingly, most of the roof removed.
Any time a roof is missing, I know I’m going to have a good time.
