
Next to the receiving bay, I found this unique little stencil.
I was positive that as I began to explore the urban art world I’d find a lot more of these because they’re easy to create, easy to produce, and above all, fast to get up – but I saw less than half a dozen.
This piece was put up in a sea of individual tags. Even as simple it is, it’s still the most artistic thing on that section of the wall. Strangely, it was also put up with a higher grade paint (it’s my understanding that stencils usually go up with whatever the artist can find), designed to be up as long as possible. This, as with everything else here, was eventually removed by a city worker with a stick of dynamite to make room for the new (and apparently necessary) Art Square building.
What I want to know is.. why is he peeing out the barrel hole?
