This was another hidden gem behind some 7ft high prison gate-like fencing with razor wire on top. It used to be the parking lot for whatever abandoned building was here once upon a time, but since things have begun to go south in Downtown, the city fenced it off to prevent exactly what we’re seeing here.
There’s another mural underneath, with at least three more tags on top of it (towards the right). This was another long mural, and I wish I could have found a way to get in and get a better shot before this one got buffed.
As a documentarian, I have to respect the rules of the land – and sometimes that’s a little heartbreaking.
