
I’ve already said the most interesting thing about looking from piece to piece is the differences between them, but I’m going to say it again, because it’s an absolute true story.
This one was done with the same brand of Montana most of the others have been put up with, except it’s on a different kind of stone. “Stone” being the loosest term I can think of – the wall was basically nothing more than hardened mud. It absorbed the paint, and probably took twice as much as a normal spot might, but ultimately gives the finished work a kind of foil art texture to it, both in print and in person.
