The former Downtown Arts District was a popular hot spot for murals and tagging. Pop2 was a local “art supply store” run by mural artist Ras One located nearby in the Arts Factory building – and that certainly helped Downtown become what it was.
It’s difficult to tell from the photo, but this piece started on one wall, continued at the bend, and then finished on another wall: the area curved twice, and this detailed piece never stopped for an inch because of it.
