






Amazingly, even though this large mural was out in plain sight, nobody had removed or tagged through it when I came across it.
The piece was enormous and looked like it’d taken some real time to do. There’s a lot of sections on there that have a lot of detail – at least, that’s how it looks. When it comes to large canvases like this, detail in art is just an optical illusion: looking closer, it’s clear that the “intricate detail” is just a trick of the eye to make it seem that way. It’s actually a simple shape, or something that your eye is reading more into than is really there.
The size of this piece can’t be properly summed up in a book: this was something to see in person. It felt like it took up half a city block.
