091: BLUBBER (Las Vegas, NV 06/23/2012)

These are the ones I didn’t expect: high risers.

Because I’d spent the majority of my time looking at ground level canvases, it never occurred to me to look up until I spotted this piece behind a chain link, razor-wire covered fence. Every inch of the wall had been painted – ground to rooftop – and looked like it’d been painted to stay. Several tags had been put closer to the bottom (“blubber” on the right side), but nobody had quite gone to the necessary lengths to work on the top piece.

From the looks of things, it’d been there for some time, and was probably sporting at least a year long run when this was taken.

This specific area had a lot of buildings that were covered like that.
