Down yet another alley, living on another shipping/receiving panel, are these cartoon looking fish. It’s hard not to notice the bright colors. Because this was painted on what was most likely a light aluminum, the colors on this are smooth, sharp, and really pop.
Near the bottom of this piece are several signatures, but more intriguing than that is over in the lower left corner: 747. In the street art scene, it’s common for artists to tag pieces with their area code to let others know where they’re from, and in this case, 747 is Los Angeles County. Basically, someone traveled from the center of LA to come to Las Vegas and paint this piece on someone’s docking bay door.
Artists traveling to spread art? How is that not awesome?
